NRA Basic Pistol

Our NRA Basic Pistol class will take the brand new gun owner from square one through the basic knowledge of the different types of hand guns, how they operate and what type of ammunition they require. We will help the prospective gun owner decide what type of hand gun is best suited for their ability and purpose. The NRA Basic Pistol course also gives each student the opportunity to apply their practical skills with actual live fire practice at the gun range. At the completion of the NRA Basic Pistol course each student will receive a course completion certificate that they can use to apply for their Florida Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

NRA Personal Protection in the Home (PPITH)

Pistol Coach also teaches the NRA Personal Protection in the Home course which will equip you as a home owner, with the knowledge and skills to adequately defend you and your family members.  The course fills the gap between the time an intruder enters your home and when help arrives. You will also learn strategies that will give you the upper hand and position you to defend your home. We all prefer that deadly force be a last resort and we teach our students to give themselves every opportunity to avoid a deadly confrontation but also to know what to do if faced with no other alternative.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOTH)

Pistol Coach is excited to offer this new course as it expands on some of the strategies learned in previous courses NRA Basic Pistol and NRA Personal Protection in the Home.  NRA Personal Protection Outside of the Home will prepare you for a potential deadly confrontation when you are not in the privacy of your home as you will learn how and when to defend yourself and by what means are best suited for you and your situation.
